SUBSTIWOOD® LAWN EDGING
"Standard" and "Rope-Top" Edgings
Each SUBSTIWOOD® edging unit is approximately 24 in. long, includes a mowing strip, and weighs approx. 15 lbs. We carry two different types of edgings: standard and rope-top. The standard edging includes an equivalent of 7 specially-designed "bricks". In addition to the straight unit, two-ft and 5-ft radius curved units (inside and outside) are available for the standard unit. We also offer inside and outside corner unit for transitions at 90 degree corners. For the rope-top models, straight and 2-ft radius units are available.
NEW - Beginning March 2006, we also offer rope-top edgings without the mowing strip. These smaller edgings come in 9-inch lengths.

Most standard and ropetop edgings have convenient mowing strips
A 90-degree corner made with two straight standard edgings and one inside corner unit. Corners can also be made by saw cutting the edgings at desired angles (e.g. two 45-degree angles to make a 90-degree corner)
Outside and inside curved edgings can be used to achieve the desired shapes
Tree ring made with 2-ft radius outside curved units.
